Dr. Carrie Lambert, founder and board-certified pediatric dentist

Dr. Carrie Lambert

Founder — Board-Certified Pediatric Dentist

Dr. Carrie grew up in San Diego, California. She studied Biology at UC Irvine and obtained her Bachelor's degree with a minor in Criminology. She then attended UCLA Dental School, where she received numerous awards and graduated #1 in her class.

After dental school she completed a General Practice Residency at the Veteran's Affairs Dental Clinic in San Diego, where she fell in love with public health. She pursued her passion by joining a Native American Health Clinic in San Diego, where she stayed for 15 years — working her way from staff dentist to Dental Director and finally Chief Dental Officer.

Dr. Carrie realized her favorite aspect of dentistry was working with children and helping them create beautiful smiles that increased their overall health and confidence. So, in 2021 she was accepted into NYU's Advanced Education in Pediatric Dentistry program in Anchorage, Alaska. Dr. Carrie chose that program for the opportunity to provide care to the Native Alaskan population and the extensive training provided due to the severe need in the state.

After relocating to Knoxville, Dr. Carrie opened Treehouse Pediatric Dentistry to take her vast experience into the private sector and provide comprehensive care in a smaller setting where patients come first. Dr. Carrie enjoys reading, baking, watching UT sports and spending time with her husband and two children.

Travis Lambert, office manager

Travis Lambert

Office Manager

Travis grew up in San Diego, California and attended UC Irvine with his high school sweetheart (Dr. Carrie!). After earning bachelor's degrees in Criminology and Psychology he became a police officer. As a police officer he obtained a master's degree in leadership and promoted to investigations sergeant before retiring.

Travis spent his first few years in retirement taking care of their two children, and when asked by Dr. Carrie to manage a private office for her, he jumped at the opportunity. In his spare time he enjoys playing golf, watching UT sports and spending time with Dr. Carrie and their two children.

How we're hiring

Every person on this team will be chosen for how they treat children — patient, attentive, calm under pressure. Clinical skill matters. So does the way a child feels walking out the door.

Known by name

A small, consistent team — so your child sees familiar faces year after year, not a rotating cast.

Trained for pediatric work

Clinical staff with real pediatric experience — not general dental assistants learning on your child.

A real person on the phone

Front-office support that listens before scheduling — because the first conversation sets the tone for every visit after.
